Marble Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1. Flour or maida (200gms)
2. cocoa powder (60gms)
3. vanilla essence (1tsp)
4. sugar (160gms)
5. milk (1/2c)
6. melted butter (160gms)
7. eggs (3)
8. baking soda (1tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, mix the flour and baking soda in it. Take another bowl, cream together the butter, essence and sugar in it. Add the eggs one at a time and then beat it until the mixture gets smooth and sugar gets blended well.

2. Now add the flour and then milk in the mixture. Mix it well until the batter gets smooth. Now divide this batter into two parts. In one part add cocoa powder.

3. Take a baking tin of 8 inch. Grease it and then line it. First pour 1 layer in the tin and then the second layer and keep on adding the layers alternatively.

4. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake it for 15 minutes at 180-200 degrees C then reduce the temperature and bake it for anther 10 minutes. The color of the cake changes to golden on the top. Now take out the tin from the oven and keep it to cool and then invert it on a dish.
