Butter Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken drumsticks, thighs, sliced breast pieces (3lb), sour cream (1c), yogurt or butter milk (1c), butter (4oz), oil (1tbsp), garlic paste (1tsp), ginger paste (1tsp), chili powder (3tsp optional), tomato puree (1/2c), cardamoms (6), cloves (6), salt (to taste), cinnamon sticks (2).
Method of preparation:-
Take a large sauce pan, heat oil in it. Add ginger, garlic, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon in the pan and fry them until them for a minute on medium low heat. Now add the chicken with yogurt or buttermilk, sour cream, tomato puree, chili powder and salt. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the chicken on medium heat for half an hour by stirring it occasionally. When the chicken gets cooked then adds the butter in the chicken before serving. Serve it hot in a serving dish with rice or chapatti.
