Dry Fruit Halwa Recipe

Ingredients
Cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts and pistachios (100gms each), sugar (300gms), ghee or oil (1c), Khoya (400gms), ground cardamom (2), black raisins (50gms).

Method of preparation:-
dry-fruit-halwaTake cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts and pistachios in a grinder and grind them coarsely. Heat the ghee in a pan, put the Khoya in it. Fry it and stir it all the time until it turns to light brown and then keep it aside. Boil the milk in the pan and add the sugar in it. Stir it until the sugar gets dissolve. Take off the pan from the heat and then mix this dissolved sugar in the Khoya. Mix it well then add the coarsely grounded dry fruits, cardamom powder and raisins. Now take a greased plate, place the mixture of dry fruits in it with a spoon and smoothen it with a flat spoon. Keep it to cool and then cut into diamond shaped pieces and garnish with pistachios and almonds.
