Black Grape Sherbet Recipe
Ingredients
Black grape juice (4c), tamarind pulp (1 1/2tbsp), black salt or kala namak (3tsp), fennel seeds (1tsp), caram seeds or ajwain (1/2tsp), cumin seeds (3/4tsp), crushed ice (as required), black grapes and green grapes for garnish.
Method of preparation:-
Take a pan, place it over heat. Dry roast the cumin seeds, caram seeds and fennel seeds for 1 to 2 minutes. Grind the roasted spices with black salt to make a fine paste. Take black grape juice and then pour it in a jug. Add the tamarind pulp and the ground spices in the jug of juice and then mix it well. Now add the crushed ice in the juice. Take the old fashioned glasses, pour the prepared black grape juice in the glasses and then garnish with green and black grapes.
Cooking time – 5 minutes
