Pineapple Aabshola Recipe
Ingredients
1. Pineapple (1med.)
2. powdered sugar (1/4c)
3. crushed black peppercorns (6-8)
4. lemon grass (4stalks)
5. lychees (2)
6. fresh mint leaves (4-6)
7. black namak or kala salt (to taste)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take mint leaves, wash them, peel and slice the pineapple thinly. Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the fresh pineapple slices. Arrange these slices in a tray and then heat them by turning over time to time until they get caramelize or about 5 minutes.
2. Add some water and again cook for about 3 minutes. Now put these cooked slices in a blender with lychees and blend them. Put the caramel liquid and again blend it. Add black salt and the mint leaves and again blend it.
3. Add crushed peppercorns and ice cubes and again blend it. Take a stemmed glass pour the liquid in it. Put a lemongrass stalk as a stirrer and serve it chilled.
