Ricotta and Basil Pizza Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. Ricotta (250gm)
2. roughly chopped yellow peppers (2)
3. halved or whole cherry tomatoes (10)
4. basil leaves (a few to serve)
5. plain flour (for dusting)
6. bag mixed grain or granary bread mix (500gms)
7. chopped tomatoes (2cans or 400 gms)
8. olive oil (1tsp)
9. finely chopped onion (1)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 220 degrees C. Take a large pan, heat oil in it. Saute onions and yellow peppers in it for few minutes until they get soft. Add tomatoes in it and add seasoning in it and then keep it to simmer for about 10 minutes.

2. Meanwhile prepare the dough according to the instructions of granary bread package and then knead the dough. Take a baking sheet, dust the flour in it and then roll the dough in rectangular shape.

3. Now place the sheet in oven and bake it for about 5 minutes. Take out the sheet from oven and spread the sauce over the dough. Add cherry tomatoes over it and then drop spoonfuls of ricotta over it.

4. Again place it in oven and bake it for about 10 minutes until the base gets crispy and golden. Spread the basil over the pizza and serve it with green salad.

Easy Bread Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
1. Plain white bread (4slices)
2. finely cut bell pepper (4tbsp)
3. shredded cheese (1c)
4. salt (to taste)
5. pepper (to taste)
6. finely chopped onion (1small)
7. black slices olives (8tbsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees c. Take bread slices, lightly apply the butter on bread slices. Spread 2 tablespoon of olives in layer, 1 tablespoon of bell pepper, 2 tablespoon of onion and then spread cheese on top.

2. Dust salt and pepper according to taste. Now place the bread slices in oven and bake them until the cheese gets melted and change its color to brown. Take out the pizza from oven and serve it hot.

Eggnog Fruit Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (3c)
2. candied fruit (1c)
3. vegetable oil (1c)
4. vanilla extract (3/4tsp)
5. eggnog (1 1/2c)
6. salt (1/2tsp)
7. eggs (3)
8. baking powder (2tsp)
9. rum extract (3/4tsp)
10. sugar (1 1/2c)
11. chopped walnuts (1/2c)
12. ground nutmeg (1/2tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a large bowl, beat eggs and oil in it. Add eggnog, sugar, rum and vanilla extract in it and then beat it well.

2. Take another bowl, add 2 ½ cup of flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg in it. Now add this to the egg mixture. Take remaining flour, toss the fruits in it and then stir into batter. Add the walnuts in it.

3. Take two loafs pan, grease them and then pour the mixture in these pans. Place the pans in the preheated oven. Bake it for 60 to 65 minutes at 350 degrees F. Then keep on the wire rack for about 10 minutes to cool. Now the eggnog fruit bread is ready to serve.

Tasty Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
1. Bread slices cut into cubes (6)
2. butter (4tbsp)
3. heavy whipping cream (1c)
4. raisins (1/4c)
5. cashew nuts, broken into pieces (20)
6. cinnamon powder (a pinch)
7. vanilla essence (1tsp)
8. beaten eggs (3)
9. sugar (1/2c)

Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 350 degrees. Take a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, cream, cashew nuts and mix them properly.

2. Now pour the mixture into the square pan. Mix the bread cubes into the liquid and keep them to soak the liquid for about 5 minutes. Set a pan in a larger pan filled with water to ½ inch from the top. Then cover it with aluminum foil.

3. Place it in the oven and bake it for 40 minutes then remove the cover from the pan and again bake it for 10 minutes to brown the top. Now the bread pudding gets ready. This tastes better when it is warm. If it gets cold, slightly warm it in the microwave and then serve it.

Brown Bread Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
1. Brown bread (8slices)
2. olive oil (2tsp)
3. chopped fresh button mushrooms (5-6)
4. chopped garlic (2cloves)
5. chopped celery (1stalk optional)
6. grated cheese (4tbsp)
7. black pepper powder (to taste)
8. red chilli flakes (1tsp)
9. chopped spring onion (5-6)
10. salt (to taste)
11. paprika (1tsp)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take brown bread slices, apply the butter on its one side. Keep the bread slices aside.

2. Take a non stick frying pan, heat oil in it and saute spring onion and garlic in the oil for 2 minutes. Add celery and mushrooms and fry them for 2 minutes. Add paprika powder, red chili flakes, black pepper and salt and sauté for 2 or 3 minutes. Take off the pan from the heat and divide the filling into four parts.

3. Take the bread slices, place one part of filling on one side of the bread slice and then spread it. Now sprinkle the grated cheese on the top and cover it with the slice of buttered bread. When the sandwich gets ready then serve it immediately.

Bread Upma Recipe

Ingredients
1. White bread preferably a day old (6-8 slices)
2. oil (4tbsp)
3. chopped onion (1med.)
4. chopped fresh coriander leaves (2tbsp)
5. chopped green chillies (2)
6. lemon juice (1tsp)
7. red chilli powder (1/2tsp)
8. turmeric powder (1/4tsp)
9. boiled and diced potato (1med.)
10. cumin seeds (1/2tsp)
11. mustard seeds (1/4tsp)
12. asafoetida (a pinch)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take bread slices, break them into smaller pieces with or without crust. Take a kadai, heat oil in it. Add a pinch of asafoetida, Add the mustard seeds and the cumin seeds in the kadai.

2. When the mustard seeds get crackle and the cumin seeds change its color then sauté the onions in the oil. When the onion gets translucent then add the diced potatoes and saute them for 2 minutes.

3. Now add bread pieces, turmeric powder and red chillies powder and then toss them to mix well. Sprinkle some water and cook for 2 minutes. Add the green chillies, coriander leaves and lemon juice and then toss and serve hot in the serving dish.

Indian Bread Recipes

Bhaturas
Ingredients
1. Maida (500gms)
2. ghee or margarine or butter (25gms)
3. fresh yeast (25gms) or dry yeast (2tsp)
4. sugar (1 1/2tsp)
5. fresh curds (2tbsp)
6. salt (1tsp)
7. oil for deep frying

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a bowl, sieve the flour properly in the bowl. Take another bowl, put sugar and yeast in it with 1 cup of warm water and mix it until the yeast gets dissolve.

2. Cover the bowl and keep it for 5 to 7 minutes until the mixture becomes full of froth. Now put this mixture into the flour and then add curd, ghee and salt to the flour. Put some warm water into the flour mixture to make dough. Knead the dough for 6 to 7 minutes to make it soft.

3. Take a clean wet cloth, keep the dough in it for about 30 minutes and then again knead it for 1 minute. Now divide the dough into 20 parts. Apply a little ghee and then roll them into bhatura.

4. Take a kadai, heat the oil in it. Deep fry the bhatura in the hot oil until it gets brown and then drain it from the oil and serve it hot with chole and chutney in a serving dish.

Bread Besan Bajji Recipe

Ingredients
1. Bread (4slices)
2. onion (1/2)
3. coriander powder (1/4tsp)
4. channa dal (1c)
5. chilli powder (1sp)
6. oil for frying
7. salt (to taste)
8. coriander leaves (few)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take onion and cut it into very small pieces. Take a grinder; make the paste of channa dal by adding some water and mix salt in it in the grinder.

2. Mix it well and then add chopped onion, chilli, coriander powder and some coriander leaves for taste.

3. Take a kadai, heat oil in it for frying. Now take bread slices and cut into four pieces and then dip them in the channa dal paste.

4. Deep fry them in the hot oil until they turn golden brown. Drain them from the oil and serve them hot with hot sauce or Ketchep.

Double Ka Meetha (Bread Pudding) Recipe

Ingredients
1. Loaf bread (1small)
2. powdered cardamom (5)
3. milk (1lt)
4. saffron (10gm)
5. sugar (500gms)
6. soaked and finely chopped almonds (100gms)
7. double cream (250gms)
8. chopped and roasted cahew nuts (100gms)
9. clarified butter (250gms)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take bread slices and cut each bread slices into four pieces. Fry them in the ghee or clarified butter until turns golden brown.

2. Make the sugar syrup by boiling water with sugar for about 15 minutes. Add the saffron and the powdered cardamom dissolved in the milk to the sugar syrup. Boil the milk until it gets thickened.

3. Take a flat tray, place the fried pieces of bread on it and then sprinkle the chopped nuts on them. Pour the sugar syrup, double cream and milk one by one over the bread pieces while they are hot. Cool it and then place it in the refrigerator. Serve the bread pudding as a dessert.

Baked Bread Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
1. Fresh and soft bread slices (6)
2. grated cheese (1tbsp)
3. softened butter (1tbsp)
4. crushed red chilies (1/2tsp)
5. crushed garlic flakes (2)
6. salt to taste

Method of preparation:-
1. Take bread slices, slightly wet them and then roll them with the help of rolling pin. Mix the garlic, chili and salt in the batter. Apply this batter on all the slices.

2. Now roll one slice and join it tightly from end to end. Brush the butter all over the slice. Put the grated cheese in a flat plate. Coat the roll with the grated cheese by rolling in it.

3. Make more rolls of bread slices in the same way. Now cover the rolls in the moist cloth. Place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then place them in the preheated oven and then bake them for 10 -15 minutes until get golden brown and crispy. When they get baked then serve them hot with chutney or Ketchup.
