Broccoli Cheese and Bacon Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Bacon slices (6 to 8), shredded cheese of any kind (1c), broccoli (1 to 2 bunches), nuts or sunflower seeds (1/2c0, red onion (1/3c), raisins (1/2c).
For dressing:- Sugar (2 to 4 tbsp), vinegar (1/4c), mayonnaise (1c).
Method of preparation:-
Take a pan, place it over heat. Fry bacon slices in it until they get crispy and crumble. Keep it aside. Take broccoli flowerets, cut them into very small pieces. Cut up about 4 cups of broccoli flowerets and put them in a salad bowl. . Add onion, nuts, raisins and cheese in salad bowl. Prepare the dressing mixture in a bowl by mixing mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar in a bowl. Now pour the dressing in salad bowl. Mix the salad and then keep the bowl in the refrigerator for about 2 to 3 hours. Then add the crumbled bacon in the salad and mix it again. Now the salad is ready to serve.

Romaine Caesar Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Romaine (2heads), butter (2tbsp), thinly cut bread slices (4), wine vinegar (1tbsp), olive oil (3tbsp), egg, optional (10, parmesan cheese (3tbsp), anchovy fillets (6), garlic (1clove).
Method of preparation:-
Take a large wooden bowl, mash garlic in it and rub it around the sides of bowl. Keep it for few minutes and then take out the garlic pulp and throw it. Then put the cheese and anchovy fillets into the bowl and mash them to make smooth paste. Cook the egg in fast boiling water for about 1 minute to coddle it. Then add it to the anchovy- cheese mixture. Mix vinegar and oil in it. Take bread slices, apply butter on both sides of it to make croutons and then cut it into cubes. Cook it in oven until it gets brown and crispy. Take romaine, wash it well and then dry and make it crispy. Break it and sprinkle it over the croutons and mix dressing in it until the leaf gets coated and the dressing gets absorbed by the croutons.

Waldorf Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Red apples (2), green apple (1), diced celery (1c), mayonnaise (1/4c), coarsely chopped toasted walnuts (1/2c), whipping cream (1/4c), seedless grapes, halved (1c), lemon juice (1tbsp).
Method of preparation:-
Take apples, core them and dice them and put them in bowl. Dust the lemon juice over the apples. Add grapes and celery to apples and mix them. Take a small bowl, mix cream and mayonnaise in it and then pour it over apple mixture and mix it. Keep it in the refrigerator until the serving the salad. Now the salad is ready. Add walnuts in the salad and mix it just before serving.

Spicy Coleslaw Recipe
Ingredients
Shredded cabbage (6c), peeled and grated carrot (1), vegetable oil (1/4c), salad dressing or miracle whip (1/4c), dry mustard (1/4tsp), celery seeds (1/2tsp), garlic powder (1/8tsp), sugar (1tbsp), cider vinegar (3tbsp), minced parsley (1tbsp), grated onion (1 small), salt and freshly ground pepper (to taste).
Method of preparation:-
Take a large bowl, mix parsley, carrot, onion and cabbage in it . Mix it until it gets properly mixed. Take a small bowl; prepare dressing in it by mixing mayonnaise, vinegar, oil and sugar and seasoning in it. Mix it well. Now pour the dressing over the salad or cabbage mixture. Mix it gently. Keep the salad bowl in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to chill. Now the salad is ready to serve.

Mandarin Almond Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Mandarin oranges, drained (1can about 10 oz), sliced green onion (4), toasted sliced almonds (1/2c), minced parsley (1tbsp), chopped celery (1c), romaine lettuce (1 head), vegetable oil (1/2c), salt and freshly ground pepper (to taste), Dijon mustard (1/2tsp), honey (1tbsp), tarragon leaves (1tsp), white wine vinegar (2/3c).
Method of preparation:-
Take a small bowl, prepare the dressing in it by mixing mustard, honey, tarragon, vinegar and salt and pepper in it. Mix it well and add oil in it and then again mix it to blend it well. Take lettuce, tear it into small bite sized pieces and then put in large salad bowl. Add mandarin oranges, onions, parsley, celery in the bowl and mix them well. Now sprinkle the dressing over the salad and then dust the almond slices over the top of the salad.

Herbed Barley Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Pearl barley (1c), chopped radishes (1/2c), chopped green pepper (1/2), chopped fresh basil (1/4c), Dijon mustard (2tsp), chopped chive (2tbsp), chopped parsley (1/4c), chopped red pepper (1/2), chopped green onion (6), chopped garlic (3 cloves)water (3c), salt and pepper (to taste), olive oil (1/2c), red wine vinegar (1/4c), chopped garlic (1clove).
Method of preparation:-
Take a saucepan, place it over heat. Add barley, garlic and water in it. Keep it to boil and then turn down the heat. Cover the pan and keep it to simmer for about 40 minutes until the barley gets soft. Then drain it and keep it aside. Take a small bowl to prepare dressing in it by mixing mustard, vinegar and garlic in it. Mix it well and then mix oil in it. Add salt and pepper in it according to taste. Now pour half of the dressing over the warm barley and then keep it aside to cool. Then add herbs and vegetables to the barley and mix the leftover dressing over it. Keep the salad in the refrigerator to chill and then serve it.

Creamy Herbed Pasta Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Short pasta like penne (1package about 12 oz or 375gms), freshly grated parmesan cheese (1/4c), firmly packed fresh parsley (1/2c), firmly packed fresh basil (1c), chicken or vegetable stock (1/3c), pepper (1/2tsp), Dijon mustard (1tbsp), lemon juice (1tbsp), cottage cheese (2c), chopped green onion (4), chopped red pepper (1).
Method of preparation:-
First drain the cooked pasta and rinse it in cold water and then put it in large salad bowl. Take food processor, put parsley, basil and parmesan cheese in it and finely chop them and then put it in salad bowl. Then add stock, pepper, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and cottage cheese to the food processor. Process it to make the puree of this mixture. Put the chopped onion and pepper to the pasta in salad bowl and then pour the sauce or puree over it and mix it well. Keep the salad bowl in the refrigerator to chill for about 30 minutes and then serve it.

Dilled Salmon Pasta Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Fresh dill weed (2tbsp or 2 tsp dried), yogurt (1/2c), mayonnaise (1/3c), chopped green onion (3 to 4), frozen peas (1c), salmon (2can about 7 ½ oz each), farfalle pasta (4c).
Method of preparation:-
Take pasta, cook it and drain it and then rinse it with cold water. Take a large bowl, put pasta in it. Then add green onions, frozen peas and salmon to the pasta. Take a small bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise and dill in it. Then pour this mixture over the pasta mixture and then gently mix it. Keep the salad bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill and then serve it.

Cabbage (1head), green onion (1bunch), sunflower seeds (1/2c), cooked chicken breast (2), Oriental flavoring (1packet), rice vinegar (1/2c), vegetable or canola oil (1/2c), ramen noodles, Oriental flavor (2packages), silvered almonds, toasted (1/2c), cilantro (1 bunch), sugar, salt and pepper (to taste).

Take ramen noodles, break them and put them in salad. Take a small bowl; prepare the dressing in it by mixing rice vinegar, oil and flavoring in it. Now pour the dressing over the salad and then add salt and pepper according to taste. Keep the salad aside for about an hour so that the salad get absorb the flavor for good taste.

Ingredients
Red potatoes, diced (2 pounds), nonfat plain yogurt (1c), chopped green onions (1/4c), dried dill weed (1tsp), prepared Dijon style mustard (1tsp), fat free mayonnaise (3tbsp), hard cooked eggs, chopped (6), garlic powder (1tsp).

Now pour the dressing over the eggs and potatoes and then mix them well. Now keep the bowl in refrigerator to chill.
