Sprouted Field Beans Pulav Recipe

Ingredients
1. Cooked rice (8c)
2. cumin seeds (1tsp)
3. cinnamon (1”stick)
4. cloves (2)
5. oil (4tbsp)
6. chopped green chilies (2)
7. asafoetida (1/2tsp)
8. turmeric powder (1/2tsp)
9. sprouted field beans (2c)
10. red chilli powder (1tsp) or to taste
11. salt (to taste)
12. Grated fresh coconut (optional, for garnish)
13. chopped coriander leaves (for garnish)

Method of preparation:-
1. Take a pan, boil water in the pan. Add the sprouted beans in the boiling water. Cook them for 8 minutes or until get fully cooked.

2. Take a heavy bottomed pan, heat oil in it until it it is very hot. Add the cumin seeds in the hot oil and fry them. When the seeds get splutter then add cloves, green chilies, cinnamon, red chilli powder, asafoetida and the turmeric powder.

3. Stir the mixture and fry for them on medium low heat for about 2 minutes. Now add the rice and the cooked sprouted field beans with salt.

4. Cover the vessel and cook it on low for about 10 minutes. Now garnish the rice with grated coconut or chopped coriander leaves. Serve them hot with any curry.
