Bhel Recipe
Ingredients
1. Puffed rice (1 1/2c)
2. boiled peeled potato (1small)
3. thinly chopped tomato (1)
4. finely chopped coriander leaves (1/2tbsp)
5. parboiled moong sprouts (1/4c optional)
6. roasted peanuts (1tsp optional)
7. fine sev (1/2c)
8. tamarind chutney (1 ½)
9. hot green chutney (1tsp)
10. lime juice (1/4tsp)
11. puries (10-12 crushed, used for bhel, optional)
12. salt (to taste)
Method of preparation:-
1. Take a large mixing bowl, add puffed rice and all other ingredients in the bowl except sev and coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients well by shaking the bowl.
2. If the mixture is dry then sprinkle few drops of water. Adjust taste and the salt according to your taste. Mix it well and then put it in the individual bowls with the spoon.
3. Now sprinkle some sev and the chopped coriander on the bhel to garnish it. Serve it immediately.
