Til Burfi Recipe
Ingredients
Sesame seeds (3c), groundnuts or peanuts (1c), sugar (2 1/2c), grated dry coconut (1/2c).
Method of preparation:-
Take a pan, roast sesame seeds in it until good aroma comes out from the seeds and then keep it aside. Then roast the groundnuts. Grind the roasted groundnuts finely but grind the roasted sesame coarsely. Mix them together. Take a thick bottomed pan, make thick sugar syrup in it. Mix the powdered groundnuts and sesame seeds in the syrup. Stir it continuously until it no longer stick to the edges. Take a tray, grease it with oil and then spread the hot mixture on to a greased tray to about quarter inch thickness. Sprinkle the grated dry coconut on the top and then cut it into square or diamond shapes.
